Tate Take Over: 3D DesignSaturday 23rd February 2008, 7 – 10pmTate Modern, Turbine Hall Bridge
For one night we took over the bridge space in the Tate Modern Turbine Hall. The event was a collaboration between Raw Canvas and Camberwell 3D Design students. The evening was a huge success of mass participatory play, with over 1000 people attending. We encouraged the public to play, invent and have fun by interacting with activities that investigated the making process.
Raw Canvas is a Tate Modern youth initiative that offers perspective on modern art and contemporary art. Raw Canvas devise, design and deliver a number of free, inventive and imaginative peer-led workshops and events for young adults aged between 15-23.
