I have also looked at mobility as an aspect. The cutting and pasting combined the utensils together and this combination of joining one to the other reduces. Two objects become one. So I looked at reducing, folding and attaching it to objects that we always carry with us such as our keys.

The cut, paste and fuse has also lead to a more playful approach. By using these utensils I asked myself If it changes the way we eat? How dependant is it on the type of food that is served? I’ve continued this topic in a slightly different manner. Instead of just cutting, pasting and fusing cutlery I looked outwards and brought in another character and habit in regards to the table and eating. Addicts to salt and Pepper! Just the action of moving your knife, or the up and down movement of your fork… could that be a sufficient movement to sprinkle enough salt/pepper on your next bite?
