Bio

Based in London Rachel Wingfield set up the design studio Loop.pH with Mathias Gmachl to create and develop new and reactive surfaces and has worked on architectural and fashion commissions to product design. They conduct an extensive range of research activities and collaborate with industry and multi-disciplinary groups.

Rachel is currently a Research Fellow at Central Saint Martins School of Fashion and Textiles where she is researching the role surfaces and textiles could play in increasing energy efficiency, becoming active and self-sufficient.
