Personal Profile
Within my work I endevour to create a hybrid between functional design and traditional crafts such as knitting, embroidery, crochet. This is demonstrated quite clearly with in the 'Multiple with a Soul' project and I look up to designers who work very similarly such as Ann Sutton. I beagn to discover my interests in this whilst on my Foundation course (also attended at Camberwell) and decided to go on to the 3D MCP course at Camberwell as I felt that the smaller groups and ability to be able to experiment and 'play' without being too restricted would and indeed has benefited me. However recently I have discovered a keen interest in typography and playing with letters to reveal messages as well as creating intercative work that involves the viewer. This can be seen in my recent project entitled 'Tock' presented for the 3D MCP exhibition.Link to projects
