THE LIDO LIVE PROJECT This project was initiated by Brockwell Lido who invited the 1st Year students on the 3D Design Course to propose and materialise four installations for The Modern Movement event which celebrated the Lido and vintage furniture and design. The installations had to celebrate, inform or interact with the public with matters regarding the history or culture of Brockwell Lido. We were split up into groups to work on a chosen project over the course of over a month.

We were given the proposal to transmit sound over a distance using the 'cup and string' technique. Initially, we were only going to transmit music associated with the prime of Lido culture. However, we managed to record interviews with local users and contributors to the Brockwell Lido providing past memories and their attitudes regarding the current state of the Lido.
