Personal Profile

I was born in Düsseldorf / Germany in 1983 and moved to my personal hometown Munich / Germany in 1984. I finished High school in Munich 2000 and started a 6-month internship in a Munich / Cologne based advertisement agency as a graphic designer. In 2001 I went to Cambridge / uk to do a foundation course in art and design. I focused my interests in graphic design product design and architecture. After my decision to do my ba in product design in England, I applied for the Kingston University product design course in 2003 to develop my ideas and concepts. But after one year I heart about the brand new 3 d mcp course in Camberwell /London and decided to swap the course because of personal interest. 3d mcp gives me the possibility to develop my own style of design, gives me a Hugh area of inspirations and ideas and shows me to develop my own style based on my history, memories and cultural influences. It doesnt focus on only one area in design, what you see in the choice of tutors and teachers who are from all sorts of design and art backgrounds. The projects, which we were given in the past, are not very tight in terms of briefings and results and I was able to develop interesting thoughts and concepts. After my ba in one-year time I want to apply for a ma course in design management to learn more about the concept of companies and projects on a higher level. I am also very interested to apply for a ma in product design to find my real interest in the very complex world of product/ industrial / furniture and concept design.
