In our super-materialistic society, everyday someone tries to impose meaning onto material things, sometimes a really small
thing can become very special. Even thogh we try to save and look after our small objects we are heavily affected by the
speed of consumption and tend to part from them without pain, what we buy will, with time be replaced. When working on this
project i've been looking at how to give a small object soul, how we in our daily lives have a need to personalise objects
in public places and to make them ours. How do we personalise our objects? It can be as easy as putting your own name on
the objects. When i was little my mum attached name tags to my clothes and bags and i remember having a hat with my name on.
Shifting from a mass produced object to an individual and communicates ownership. Mostpeople think twise before they use an
object that has someone elses name on it. So i started looking at all sorts of labels and tags like plastic tags, stickey
labels and old metal advertising signs also called "steet jewellery". I also had a look at tags, as in graffiti.

If one finds an object, one can legimately take ownewrship of that object as long as no claims to have lost that object.
